Embedded SW Engineer (DSP & AI)

Do you want to be part of a company on the cutting edge of technology? Do you have a master’s degree in science? Have you ever held an embedded software engineer position?

What will you do ?

You will port and optimize existing algorithms to mobile DSPs
- You will prove equivalence to the original algorithms
- In case of degradation, you will discuss with the algorithm designers the severity/trade-offs
- You will measure and benchmark power consumption
- You will integrate the DSP parts into the CPU part of the algorithm
You will optimize existing DNN networks for mobile NPUs
- You will optimize the size of the network, the memory usage, perform quantization-aware training
- You will prove equivalence to the original algorithms
- In case of degradation, you will discuss with the algorithm designers the severity/trade-offs

What are we looking for ?

QCOM Hexagon DSP / PyTorch / TensorFlow / Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK for AI / C / C++ / Python / …
Engineering level, Master in sciences or equivalent by experience
Knowledge and experience with mobile DSPs: QCOM Hexagon DSP
Knowledge and experience with platforms for machine learning like PyTorch, TensorFlow
Knowledge and experience with NPUs and their SDKs, like the Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK for AI
Knowledge and experience with Computer Vision algorithms is a plus
Fluent in English (oral and written reporting). Other languages is a plus, working in a multi-cultural environment

When I was looking for a new challenge in another sector, I came across Engibex and became excited about their projects and clients. Hence. I took the opportunity to work on revolutionary Medical Equipment with Biocartis. Now I am the Mechanical engineer for plastic components wherein I learn new technology and use a variety of engineering skills. I studied electronics and communication systems with a major in electronics at Ain Shams University in Cairo where I graduated in 1998 and where I also have been teaching for 6 years. I moved to Belgium to complete my PhD and started working as an analog designer on different projects. Leading a project with a team is something I love to do and also find passion while doing it. I am pretty involved in STEM-related activities for children bath on a company and personal level.

Prakash Dewangan

Senior E-Powertrain Engineer

With background in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in the research and early-stage development of powertrains for more than 11 years. I worked on the controls for engines,after-treatment systems, and hybrid powertrain in early part of my career. I have been with Engibex since 2016, where I have worked with two clients for simulation-based development of electrified powertrains. Currently, I am responsible for an internal project for an OEM client for the development of electrification strategy, where we have brought together a team of experts to solve this interesting problem. What I really like about Engibex is the flexibility available to chart our own path and the support of the excellent internal team
which helps along the way.

Farzaneh Bahrami

Research Engineer

With Research background for the past 5 years on advanced materials (2D Materials and thin films), Micro and nanofabrication in cleanroom, mechanical and electromechanical characterizations I now got the opportunity to join Engibex and to apply my extensive knowledge into challenging projects. I’m working on improving material characteristics by the use of new processing methods and to make products more efficient and applicable in sustainable and energy storage industries. Working with Engibex will allow me to put those
personal interests into concrete professional goals.
