Test Rig Engineer

Then this Test Rig Engineer position is for you !

In this position as Test Rig Engineer you will have a challenge on R&D test cases within an automotive engineering environment. Within the Test department you will find fun and exciting projects to work on and fulfill your passion to test and improve transmission systems

What will you do ?

You perform new development tests, analyze and report test data
Your main task will be to prepare test rig software using different tools (Python, Canape, Control Desk, Matlab/Simulink), to have the test rig perform the test as specified by test engineering
Test rig HW is prepared in collaboration with the technicians and test engineers
Together with your test rig engineering colleagues you will take ownership for multiple test rigs where you will ensure efficient and qualitative operation and pursue continuous improvement
You are the first contact person in case of operational issues of the test rigs
You analyze and resolve the issues in a structured manner and avoid future reoccurrence
You provide necessary tools and documentation to ensure uniform operation at all test rigs

What are you looking for ?

You have an engineering degree in the field of mechatronics or electro mechanics
You have a strong technical interest and at least a first experience in the field of automotive development, testing or process engineering
You are an independent, positive person with a can-do mentality and have no problem getting your hands dirty from time to time
You are a critical person who dares to challenge established ways of working, is continuously on the look-out for structural improvements and is committed to implement them
Thanks to your clear communication skills and good knowledge of English, you are proficient in reporting knowledge and results
Your technical competencies should at least comprise:
Basic understanding of scripting, preferably in Python and/or Canape
Strong problem solving skills (8D). But even more importantly, you prevent problems by applying a structured personal work method where preparation is as important as execution

Prakash Dewangan

Senior E-Powertrain Engineer

With background in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in the research and early-stage development of powertrains for more than 11 years. I worked on the controls for engines,after-treatment systems, and hybrid powertrain in early part of my career. I have been with Engibex since 2016, where I have worked with two clients for simulation-based development of electrified powertrains. Currently, I am responsible for an internal project for an OEM client for the development of electrification strategy, where we have brought together a team of experts to solve this interesting problem. What I really like about Engibex is the flexibility available to chart our own path and the support of the excellent internal team
which helps along the way.

Farzaneh Bahrami

Research Engineer

With Research background for the past 5 years on advanced materials (2D Materials and thin films), Micro and nanofabrication in cleanroom, mechanical and electromechanical characterizations I now got the opportunity to join Engibex and to apply my extensive knowledge into challenging projects. I’m working on improving material characteristics by the use of new processing methods and to make products more efficient and applicable in sustainable and energy storage industries.
