Pre-Sales Engineer Hyperspectral Imaging

To support the growth of its Spectral Imaging on chip activities, our client is opening a position of Pre-Sales Engineer for hyperspectral imaging systems within the Solutions department.

The team’s mission is to further mature and integrate this core technology and enable world’s leading innovators to develop new applications on top, in fields ranging from medical to agriculture and space.

This has already brought non-invasive methods for Alzheimer’s disease screening, in-field detection of crop diseases, multi-spectral satellite imaging from cube-sats and more.

The assignment

Your main responsibilities;

  • Be closely involved in discussions with customers to help capturing their needs;
  • Assist in lead-follow up with business developers and program manager;
  • Assist with the pre-sales processes and develop tools to improve these processes ;
  • Spot improvement opportunities and implement in the day-to-day operations;
  • Build up application knowledge and understanding of spectral imaging in real life situations ;
  • Contribute to building demos to showcase our technology on worldwide events;
  • Pick up a central role between the applications team, business development and operations ;
  • Report to the program manager and program staff.

Required skills and knowledge

  • Master in Engineering or Sciences, or similar through experience
  • Experience in a similar position, +/- 5 years
  • A commercial sense and customer-oriented view
  • Sociable, yet professional, and capable of making a genuine connection to the customer
  • Well organized and good planner
  • Strong interest in the broader scope of your work, a generalist mindset
  • Good communicator committed to delivering in line with business goals

Nice to have

  • Experience with camera and or imaging technology
  • Strong interest in new technology development and the link to the applications in the field

I moved to Belgium to complete my PhD and started working as an analog designer on different projects. Leading a project with a team is something I love to do and also find passion while doing it. I am pretty involved in STEM-related activities for children bath on a company and personal level.

    Senior E-Powertrain Engineer

    With background in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in the research and early-stage development of powertrains for more than 11 years. I worked on the controls for engines,after-treatment systems, and hybrid powertrain in early part of my career. I have been with Engibex since 2016, where I have worked with two clients for simulation-based development of electrified powertrains. Currently, I am responsible for an internal project for an OEM client for the development of electrification strategy, where we have brought together a team of experts to solve this interesting problem. What I really like about Engibex is the flexibility available to chart our own path and the support of the excellent internal team
    which helps along the way.

    Farzaneh Bahrami

    Research Engineer

    With Research background for the past 5 years on advanced materials (2D Materials and thin films), Micro and nanofabrication in cleanroom, mechanical and electromechanical characterizations I now got the opportunity to join Engibex and to apply my extensive knowledge into challenging projects. I’m working on improving material characteristics by the use of new processing methods and to make products more efficient and applicable in sustainable and energy storage industries. Working with Engibex will allow me to put those
    personal interests into concrete professional goals.
