Process Development and Industrialization Engineer

Do you have experience in process development ? Do you want a project with high responsibilities? Are you good with tight deadlines ? Do you know how to work under pressure ?

You will join the PD&I (process development and industrialization) team
You will be responsible of sourcing of assembly machine(s): specification, technical discussions with machinebuilder, testing of line, acceptance
You do follow-up meetings, design reviews, testing, acceptance with external partners (machine builder), to ensure the quality, timing and cost of the project
You analyze the consequences on the equipment of the (cost down) design proposals and discuss these design for assembly issues with R&D: DfM, DfA
Where needed/relevant, you define and realize a test set-up to validate the defined process in order to guarantee a stable process later on in production
You use project management tools to ensure that the execution of your project is based on a correct estimate of cost, timing and expectations
You use engineering tools to study and validate processes and their capability
For this, you co-operate and coordinate intensively with relevant internal departments such as R&D, production (Sint-truiden), quality and purchasing and with external partners (equipment suppliers).

Profile

You have a Master degree preferably in the field of mechanics, mechatronics
You have a good knowledge of assembly technologies, and hands on experience with assembly machines
You have thorough knowledge and experience in the field of (electro-)mechanics and an profound interest for development of production processes.
You are analytical, have a strong problem solving ability and technical insight. You can quickly diagnose, solve problems and work out suggestions for improvement.
You have a strong drive to achieve your goals
You are stress-resistant and have a hands-on mindset.
You are a convincing and enthusiastic team player with strong communicative skills, also in English.
You are perseverant and an excellent team player

Now I am the Mechanical engineer for plastic components wherein I learn new technology and use a variety of engineering skills. I studied electronics and communication systems with a major in electronics at Ain Shams University in Cairo where I graduated in 1998 and where I also have been teaching for 6 years. I moved to Belgium to complete my PhD and started working as an analog designer on different projects. Leading a project with a team is something I love to do and also find passion while doing it. I am pretty involved in STEM-related activities for children bath on a company and personal level.

Prakash Dewangan

Senior E-Powertrain Engineer

With background in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in the research and early-stage development of powertrains for more than 11 years. I worked on the controls for engines,after-treatment systems, and hybrid powertrain in early part of my career. I have been with Engibex since 2016, where I have worked with two clients for simulation-based development of electrified powertrains. Currently, I am responsible for an internal project for an OEM client for the development of electrification strategy, where we have brought together a team of experts to solve this interesting problem. What I really like about Engibex is the flexibility available to chart our own path and the support of the excellent internal team
which helps along the way.

Farzaneh Bahrami

Research Engineer

With Research background for the past 5 years on advanced materials (2D Materials and thin films), Micro and nanofabrication in cleanroom, mechanical and electromechanical characterizations I now got the opportunity to join Engibex and to apply my extensive knowledge into challenging projects. I’m working on improving material characteristics by the use of new processing methods and to make products more efficient and applicable in sustainable and energy storage industries. Working with Engibex will allow me to put those
personal interests into concrete professional goals.
