After finishing my studies lndustrial Engineering Electromechanics in Leuven, I worked for 3 years as a measurement engineer. I wanted to make a small career switch and get started in the energy sector. l'm passionate about all energy-related matters.

I studied polymer Engineering and worked as a Plastic Product Development Engineer in the automotive sector for the past 12 years. When I was looking for a new challenge in another sector, I came across Engibex and became excited about their projects and clients. Hence. I took the opportunity to work on revolutionary Medical Equipment with Biocartis. Now I am the Mechanical engineer for plastic components wherein I learn new technology and use a variety of engineering skills. With Engibex I experience a very transparent and fiat structure which I really love. This young and energetic team is great to connect with.

I studied electronics and communication systems with a major in electronics at Ain Shams University in Cairo where I graduated in 1998 and where I also have been teaching for 6 years. I moved to Belgium to complete my PhD and started working as an analog designer on different projects. Leading a project with a team is something I love to do and also find passion while doing it. I am pretty involved in STEM-related activities for children bath on a company and personal level.

I did my internship in Geneva, Switzerland at the Centre for European Nuclear Research Centre, (CERN), where 1 got the chance to work on a renovation project focusing on future energy savings. On a personal level, 1 am passionate about a range of subjects due to my inherent curiosity. My latest interest is the extraordinary life of Da Vinci.

With background in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in the research and early-stage development of powertrains for more than 11 years. I worked on the controls for engines,after-treatment systems, and hybrid powertrain in early part of my career. I have been with Engibex since 2016, where I have worked with two clients for simulation-based development of electrified powertrains. Currently, I am responsible for an internal project for an OEM client for the development of electrification strategy, where we have brought together a team of experts to solve this interesting problem. What I really like about Engibex is the flexibility available to chart our own path and the support of the excellent internal team
which helps along the way.

With Research background for the past 5 years on advanced materials (2D Materials and thin films), Micro and nanofabrication in cleanroom, mechanical and electromechanical characterizations I now got the opportunity to join Engibex and to apply my extensive knowledge into challenging projects. I’m working on improving material characteristics by the use of new processing methods and to make products more efficient and applicable in sustainable and energy storage industries. Working with Engibex will allow me to put those
personal interests into concrete professional goals.
