Software Engineer

We are looking for a high-performing Computer Vision Software Engineer !

The position will involve rapid prototyping, specifying requirements, evaluation of design and development of advanced sensing functions as a part of Automotive interior Sensing or Short range exterior sensing applications.

Your taks will be :

Lead the design and implementation of computer vision features (interior or exterior sensing) based on cutting-edge camera & ML technology
Hands on participation to validate your implementation in the test vehicles to understand the limitations and drive further improvements
Contribute in definition of test scenarios at different integration levels covering all the way from unit testing to integration in-vehicle testing
Work on different sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, radar etc.
Work closely with software developers, validation engineers, HMI engineers and customer to develop algorithms
Share your broad knowledge of Computer Vision algorithms with the team and other members of the company

Your profile :

Master of Science degree in Computer Science
Minimum 5 years of experience working in projects solving production grade computer vision tasks, that involves recent developments in deep learning
Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Software development completing full cycle of products from concept to commercialization
Proven experience in neural networks, quantisation and optimisation for different embedded platforms
Good understanding in 3D computer vision, camera models and calibration.
Proficient in Python and C++ programming
High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex
Strong experience with different sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, radar etc.

I moved to Belgium to complete my PhD and started working as an analog designer on different projects. Leading a project with a team is something I love to do and also find passion while doing it. I am pretty involved in STEM-related activities for children bath on a company and personal level.

Prakash Dewangan

Senior E-Powertrain Engineer

With background in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in the research and early-stage development of powertrains for more than 11 years. I worked on the controls for engines,after-treatment systems, and hybrid powertrain in early part of my career. I have been with Engibex since 2016, where I have worked with two clients for simulation-based development of electrified powertrains. Currently, I am responsible for an internal project for an OEM client for the development of electrification strategy, where we have brought together a team of experts to solve this interesting problem. What I really like about Engibex is the flexibility available to chart our own path and the support of the excellent internal team
which helps along the way.

Farzaneh Bahrami

Research Engineer

With Research background for the past 5 years on advanced materials (2D Materials and thin films), Micro and nanofabrication in cleanroom, mechanical and electromechanical characterizations I now got the opportunity to join Engibex and to apply my extensive knowledge into challenging projects. I’m working on improving material characteristics by the use of new processing methods and to make products more efficient and applicable in sustainable and energy storage industries. Working with Engibex will allow me to put those
personal interests into concrete professional goals.
