- AURORE
Born in France, Aurore joined Engibex and is specialised in spatial engineering. «What I really appreciate at Engibex is the human side of the company and the approachability of the management. When I was going through a difficult time in my life, I knew that I could count on the absolute understanding and unfailing support of Engibex. The multi-cultural nature of the company and the frequent meetings with people of other nationalities within the team are other elements that make for a fascinating work environment». - STEFANIE
Stefanie is Belgian and has been working at Engibex for the last three years and is head of human resources. «Engibex is a young, dynamic and innovative company. It has seen very rapid growth in a very short time and owes its success to the enormous integrity and commitment of management towards the staff. At Engibex, we are a million miles away from one of those companies that are run according to traditional mores with a strict hierarchy. For us, the most important thing is that our colleagues feel an integral part of the company and equal partners in the work. Regarding the services we offer our clients, our main priority is the extreme professionalism of the colleagues, their qualifications, their multi-culturality and the entrepreneurial spirit that make all the difference.» - LAURENZO
Laurenzo is an engineer specialised in the automotive industry. «Engibex gave me the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of new ideas and technologies in the area of transmission, for one of the jewels of our industry. My mission was specifically centred on transmission control, a job that was not simply limited to work on a computer but involved testing and implementing the technology on real vehicles. » - BERTA
My name is Berta Santafé and I am proud to be longest-standing Engibex consultant ever.I was born and raised in Pamplona (northern Spain). My Belgian experience started back in 2004 during my last year of my Masters degree in electromechanical engineering, when I came to Brussels as Erasmus student at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) in order to complete my thesis. When my internship came to an end, I continued working at the RMA for several years as research engineer in the numerical modelling of structural progressive collapse. During this time, I also had the opportunity to complete a PhD thesis, in the context of a RMA-ULB collaboration project. In 2011, after spending 6 years working in research and academia, I decided to take a turn in my career and move towards the private sector. This is when I came across David de Brouwer. My first mission was in an automotive company that designs and manufactures continuously variable transmissions, as well as electric motors for hybrid and electric vehicles. I was hired as part of the mechanical engineering team as a stress engineer. My main duties included finite element analyses of mechanical components and sub-assemblies, mostly for the hybrid and electric vehicle projects: switched reluctance motors and EV-HEV transmission housings. My second mission started in 2014 in the energy-sector, where I currently work as a design engineer in the nuclear power division. My main assignment as part of the Mechanical and Piping Integrity Group consists on the design and analysis of mechanical structures and piping equipment for the Belgian nuclear power plants, in order to ensure their safe and proper operation during their programmed and/or extended lifetime. My work also includes, although to a lesser extent, nuclear facilities’ inspections, as well as corrective action implementation and follow-up.The main motivation that led me to start working as a consultant – and to continue to do so after more than 4 years – is having the possibility to broaden both my theoretical and practical knowledge. The mid- to long-term character of the missions at Engibex makes it possible for my newly acquired competences to be usefully applied in various technological fields. It also allows me to continuously meet and learn from other experienced professionals, which I find particularly compelling - MATTHIEU
Recently I came across this wonderful company called Engibex. After an inspiring talk with my manager David De Brouwer, I decided to take the leap and challenge myself into Business Development. My job is to support the consultants in their projects and to provide them with the best opportunities to help them achieve fulfilling career goals. It is both interesting on the technical as well as the personal side, as I get to know high-tech companies in Belgium and the wonderful people that give the best of themselves. It is a pleasure to join the Engibex team, and I will do my very best to listen to each and every one of you. Should there be any concerns or questions you know where to reach me. - GEOFFREY
